JASPER

Jasper is a handsome, healthy gelding looking for a home where he can build a true partnership with his person.

Training

Jasper has a solid foundation in groundwork and has a basic understanding of both English and Western riding. He has also been introduced to natural horsemanship through the Pat Parelli program, giving him a thoughtful foundation to continue developing in any direction.

Personality

On the ground, Jasper is calm, kind, and enjoys spending time with people. He's wonderful around children and small animals. Within a herd, he can have a more dominant personality (he was gelded later in life at 9 years old), but he settles well with appropriate management.

Jasper isn't a horse who responds well to force or intimidation. He thrives with someone who values communication, patience, and mutual trust. When he feels safe and understood, he gives his best.

Ideal Home

We're still discovering exactly what Jasper's long-term calling is, but we believe he has wonderful potential. He may excel as an endurance horse, as he loves covering ground, exploring wide open spaces, and even swimming. He could also make an incredible trail companion or partner for someone who enjoys building a deep relationship with their horse rather than simply expecting obedience.

His ideal person is someone willing to meet him where he is, earn his trust, and appreciate the thoughtful horse he is becoming.

Additional Information

Jasper is in excellent health, has strong, well-maintained hooves, and is an easy keeper.

This decision comes with heavy hearts. We are only seeking a new home due to significant changes in our family's circumstances and a loss of financial support. Our priority is finding Jasper a loving, committed home where he can continue to thrive for years to come.
